Omet Foodtech was founded in 1959 in Poggibonsi, in the heart of Chianti, Tuscany, to manufacture machines for the meat industry. Initially, the company focused on butcher shops that produced sausages manually. The company soon reached an important position in the Italian market by developing more complex machines for sausage factories. From the beginning of the 90's the company has expanded itself in the main international markets. As of today, Omet Foodtech manufactures a wide variety of machines for the food processing industry: our grinders, mixers, vacuum fillers and wire binders are used in various countries all over the world.
